Getting Started
Welcome to my blog's first post! So glad you're here.
This is the very first post on my blog, so let me introduce myself a little bit.
My name is Vladyslav, and I share my home with two dogs and one cat.
I have a wide variety of hobbies, including traveling, cycling (I ride a Trek Emonda ALR5), and motorcycling (I own three bikes: two Hondas and a classic 1981 JAWA 350). I also enjoy hiking, as well as building and flying drones. My aviation hobby isn't limited to just quadcopters, though—fixed-wing aircraft are a huge part of it, too.
Professionally, I'm a software engineer with over 7 years of experience, primarily focusing on TypeScript ecosystems.
Initially, my main focus was rooted in deep Frontend expertise, site optimization, and reliability support during application development. However, in recent years, my role has expanded significantly.
Throughout my career, beyond just frontend technologies, I've always been fascinated by how the entire web works together. I love exploring the full application lifecycle: from UI design and building actual user interfaces, to providing server support with all the necessary business logic, and finally, the DevOps side of deploying the site and ensuring server reliability.
In upcoming articles, I will share my journey to finding a role where I'm excited to make magic happen every day at my favorite job. (Spoiler alert: besides software engineering, I also know how to drive railway locomotives—and even have a license for it!)
Stay tuned for more stories, tech insights, and maybe even a few tales from the railways. Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to share this journey with you.
